The Standing Vaccination Commission (STIKO) currently recommends a one-time RSV vaccination for:All people aged 75 and over, people between 60 and 74 years of age with certain underlying chronic diseases (e.g. chronic lung diseases such as COPD, severe asthma, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes) or for Residents of care facilities For younger people There is currently no general vaccination recommendation from STIKO for people under 60 years of age. However, in certain individual cases — for example in the case of serious chronic illnesses — vaccination may also be useful at a younger age.
